About UHealth

UHealth is a local medical group in the Roanoke, VA region devoted to changing the way health outcomes are perceived among patients at long-term care and skilled nursing facilities. Our experienced and trusted medical team is supported by highly trained clinical leaders, including medical directors, physicians and nurse practitioners who have decades of proven excellence in post-acute and long-term care.

Back in 2012, our founder, Dr. Alfonso Brochero, saw a gap between hospitals and the nursing homes they went to for continuation of care. With a determination to better serve people who desperately needed higher quality of care, he had a vision of creating an environment where facilities and providers worked together to make it possible. Determined to achieve that goal, Dr. Brochero founded UHealth, and our team has worked tirelessly to deliver outstanding results.

By staying committed to understanding and enhancing long-term care and skilled nursing facilities, we have gained invaluable insights into effectively utilizing available tools and resources to deliver exceptional patient care.
